Vitamin E Acetate 98% min

Vitamin E Acetate (INCI: Tocopheryl Acetate), also known as d-l alpha tocopheryl acetate, is a synthetic, stable ester form of vitamin E at 98% minimum purity. It functions as an oil-soluble antioxidant and free-radical scavenger, and as a skin-conditioning agent in skincare, soaps and haircare/scalpcare. In a formulation it limits the oxidation of oils and the development of rancidity.

Common uses include;

Skincare - skin-conditioning agent, free-radical scavenger and antioxidant in creams, lotions and oil blends, and in formulations targeting the appearance of ageing

Soap making - oil protectant, skin-conditioning agent, free-radical scavenger and antioxidant

Haircare and scalpcare - scalp-conditioning agent; antioxidant protection against oxidative stress in the formulation

Anhydrous products - limits oxidation and rancidity in oil-based (water-free) products while also acting as a skin-conditioning agent
