Syn-Ake eq (Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate)

A synthetic anti-wrinkle tripeptide (INCI: Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate), this is a SYN-AKE®-equivalent active inspired by a peptide first identified in temple viper venom. It is one of the most widely used “expression-line” peptides in modern skincare.

In leave-on facial formulations it is valued for a smoothing, relaxing effect on the appearance of dynamic fine lines — particularly across the forehead and around the eyes — offering a topical, formulator-friendly approach to the look of expression lines.

Typical applications: anti-ageing serums, eye creams, targeted “expression-line” treatments, and moisturisers.

Typical use level: low percentages (commonly around 1–4% of the supplied solution, or per your formulation). Solubility: water-soluble — add to the cool-down / water phase, below 40°C. Appearance: clear to pale liquid. Storage: keep sealed, cool, and out of direct light.
