Sodium Percarbonate is a solid adduct of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide, supplied as a powder. In water it dissolves to release hydrogen peroxide and soda ash — a powdered oxygen bleach. It has many uses from food to personal care products. Common uses include:

In Laundry: It is used to de-stain, de-odorize and whitening

Home brewing — easy to use cleaner for brewing equipment; just dilute 30grams in 5 litres of water

Fabric care — colour safe and fabric safe; keeps fabric from yellowing

Detergents: Effective in stain removal at various temperatures

Kitchen: Uses to wash plastic ware, dishes, kitchen towels

Tennis Shoes: Used to wash tennis shoes effectively. Take 1-2 ounces per gallon and soak for 10-20 minutes and then wash with clean water

Coffee Pots: To clean and de-stain coffee pots

Refrigerators — to remove mould, mildew and other organic stains

Chopping board: To Deodorize chopping board

Bathroom: Used to clean toilet and flush, shower curtains, bath tub etc

Safety Information

Do not use Sodium Percarbonate for cleaning rust stains or for silk or woolen material. It can also accelerate burning hence try to keep it away from sources of ignition as it catches fire easily. Sodium Percarbonate may also ignite combustible substances causing fire hazards. Avoid any direct contact with eyes or skin as it may cause irritation.
