Sodium Cocoyl Methyl Taurate (INCI: Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate) is a mild, high-foaming anionic surfactant supplied as a free-flowing powder at approximately 90% active. Derived from coconut/palm kernel fatty acids, it produces a rich, dense, creamy lather and has excellent skin and eye mildness, making it well suited to gentle cleansing systems.
It performs well across a wide pH range, tolerates hard water, and pairs readily with other surfactants to boost foam quality and lower irritation. As a concentrated powder it is a versatile primary or secondary surfactant for both syndet and liquid systems.
