This product is Certified Food Grade and packed under NP3 Food Grade conditions.

Sodium chloride, also know as common salt and table salt.  This grade is Fine Grade Table Salt, New Zealand produced.

Sodium chloride is used in food manufacture for a variety of reasons such as enhancing flavor, preserving products, and stabilizing emulsions by increasing emulsifier solubility. The addition of salt is primarily for flavor purposes and often contributes to the characteristic saltiness of these items.

Also used in many different industries including cosmetics, water treatment, textiles, industrial products and pharmaceuticals.
