Panthenol Powder 99% minimum

INCI: Panthenol. DL-Panthenol is the provitamin of D-pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), supplied at 99% minimum for use in hair, skin and nail care products.

It is a fine powder that is highly hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the environment). It acts as a humectant and skin conditioning agent, binding water in the formulation and contributing to the hydration and feel of the skin surface. It also functions as a hair conditioning agent, contributing long lasting moisture and body to the hair fibre and improving lustre and sheen. This product can also be used in nail care products to improve hydration and impart flexibility.
