Lauric acid 98% min

INCI: Lauric Acid. Lauric acid is the C12 saturated fatty acid that is the main fatty acid present in coconut and palm oils, supplied here at 98% minimum.  It is a very versatile and useful fatty acid and is used to make detergents, soaps, cosmetic ingredients and much more.

In formulation it acts as an emollient thickener and co-emulsifier and enhances the lipid layer. When neutralized, it acts as a superfatting agent and opacifier, making it suitable for use as a cleansing agent in haircare and skincare products. This multi-functional ingredient is commonly used in soap manufacturing, especially in the production of transparent soaps.
