Hexylresorcinol Water Soluble

Hexylresorcinol (4-hexylresorcinol) is a multifunctional resorcinol derivative, supplied here in a water-soluble form for addition to the water phase. In formulation it acts as a tyrosinase inhibitor and an antioxidant. It is used as an alternative to hydroquinone in products targeting the evenness of skin tone and the appearance of dark marks.

Usage in Skincare: It is commonly used in creams and serums targeting the appearance of ageing, and in brightening and targeted tone products, at a concentration of 0.3-10%.
