Silicone Conditioner is a blend of a very thick silicone gum (dimethiconol) and a volatile silicone (cyclomethicone).
Also known as Dow Corning 1501, BRB 1855 and Cosmetic Fluid 1585-OH.
It is used in skincare, woundcare, scar therapy, shower gels, suncare, haircare, antiperspirant and deodorant, and color cosmetic applications.
Acts as a conditioning agent and a film former. Offers characteristics such as soft velvety skin feel, anti-split ends activity, long lasting and resistance to wash-off.
Improves the water resistance of sunscreens. Fantastic lubricant.
Makes an extremely effective Barrier Cream (liquid gloves).
It adds silky softness to hair, improves spreadability of conditioners creams and provides lubricity

This product is recommended for use in hair care, skin care, and cosmetic products.
