Silicone Conditioner

Silicone Conditioner is a blend of a very high molecular weight silicone gum (dimethiconol) dispersed in a volatile carrier silicone (cyclopentasiloxane). INCI: Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethiconol Function:

conditioning agent and film former. The volatile carrier flashes off on application and leaves the dimethiconol behind as a continuous film.

Used in skincare, shower gels, suncare, haircare, antiperspirant and deodorant, and colour cosmetic applications.

It offers a soft, velvety skin feel, long-lasting deposition and resistance to wash-off, and it improves water repellency.

It improves the spreadability of conditioners and creams and provides lubricity.

Also used in barrier cream formulations.

On hair it adds silky softness and shine, and helps reduce the appearance of split ends. It improves the spreadability of conditioners and creams and provides lubricity.
