Potassium Hydroxide has many uses from food to personal care products. Common uses include:

Industrial Applications: It is used in production of potassium carbonate, potassium phosphate, and liquid fertilizers

Soaps & detergents: Used is production of potassium soaps and detergents

Television Tubes: Used in specialty glass like television tubes

Textile printing: It is used in textile printing and dyes & pigments

Petroleum refineries: KOH is used in refineries for removal of organic acids and sulfur compounds
