Pep IDP2 (Decapeptide-4)
Pep-IDP2 (Decapeptide-4) — 1000ppm solution
A biomimetic decapeptide active designed to mimic the structure of IGF-1, a naturally occurring growth factor. In leave-on formulations it is used for its skin-conditioning and firming properties, contributing to a smoother, more refined-looking complexion and helping soften the appearance of fine lines.
Supplied pre-diluted at 1000ppm in a liposome-based carrier system for improved delivery, and preservative-free.
How to use
- Use level: 1–5% of your total formula. This refers to the solution as supplied.
- Add to the water phase at cool-down. Avoid heat — add once your mixture is below 40°C.
- This material is preservative-free. Any water-containing formula you make with it needs a broad-spectrum preservative.
- Do not apply neat to the skin — this is a formulation additive. Always blend into a serum, gel or cream and patch test the finished formula.
