Optiphen Plus Preservative is a paraben-free and formaldehyde-free liquid preserving system based on phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol and sorbic acid.
It may be used between pH 4 - 8 and is best added in the cool down phase i.e. 35C or less.
It may be used for a wide range of skincare, haircare and personal care products including;
Creams, lotions, serums, liquid soaps, salves, body butters, ointments and oil blends.
Typical use levels are 0.5 - 1.5%
