Isopropyl Alcohol has many uses from laboratory uses to personal care products. Common uses include:
Cleaning products: Used as a solvent & stain remover for hard surface cleaners
Rinse aids: Commonly used in rinse aid formulations
Equine care: As a body wash after competition or training as well as during times of fever as an aid to cool the body temperature. Frequently used as a leg brace or to dilute other medications if considered too strong.
Disinfectant: Used at 50% and 70% strength in water as a disinfectant
Hand Sanitiser: gel Used in gel form as a hand sanitizer (50% & 70% strength)
Electronic Devices: Used to clean electronic devices such as contact pins, magnetic tapes
Keyboard: Used for keyboard, laptop or LCD cleaning as whiteboard cleaner
Optical Fibers: Used to clean optical fibers before splicing
Fabric cleaner: Used to clean stains from fabrics
Lithographic printing Used as wetting agent in lithographic printing
Medicine: Used as water-drying agent for preventing otitis externa
Anesthesia: Used as anesthetic
Automobile Fuels: Used in gas-dryer as fuel additives

DNA Extraction: Used in DNA extraction process as isopropyl alcohol is not soluble in DNA
