Ethanol Denatured 96%

Ethanol Denatured 96% is a versatile solvent for cleaning, laboratory and industrial use. This grade is denatured with either tert-butyl alcohol or methanol, depending on the stock we hold at the time. It is not for human consumption and must not be ingested, and it is not suitable for use in products applied to the skin.

Common uses include:

• Cleaning: Wiping down hard surfaces such as benchtops, tables, walls, floors and equipment, usually applied with a spray bottle.
• Cleaners: Helps remove stains in floor cleaners, hard surface and glass cleaners, rinse aids, dishwashing and laundry liquids.
• Laboratory: Solvent and base chemical for making esters and other organic compounds, and for chemical analysis.
• Fuel: Used as a fuel or fuel additive, including in spirit burners. Handle with great care as it is highly flammable.
• Paints, inks and markers: Used as a solvent in paints, inks and markers.

Safety Information
Keep out of the reach of children and away from heat, sparks and open flames. Ethanol is highly flammable and may cause eye and skin irritation. If swallowed, it may cause nausea and vomiting. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Delivery information

Dangerous good: this product cannot be delivered to a rural address or PO Box. It can be collected from your nearest Team Global Express depot, or delivered to a non-rural address.

Delivery takes approximately 5 working days to North Island main centres and approximately 10 working days to the South Island, depending on city.
