Crodamol STS is an emollient ester based on patented Croda chemistry that offers many of the desirable attributes of silicone (dimethicone), especially in terms of shine and feel characteristics. It also provides a number of other benefits dimethicone does not provide, including emulsion stabilising, essential oil and fragrance fixation and pigment wetting/dispersion. It can also reduce stickiness of formualtions, as well as proving shine, smoothness and lustre.
