INCI: Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Bark Oil.
Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil, from the above botanical (also classified as Cinnamomum verum), is used as a fragrance ingredient for all types of soap, candles, skincare and haircare, and functions as an antioxidant.
The major constituents of cinnamon bark essential oil are eugenol, cinnamaldehyde, phellandrene and methyleugenol. Cinnamaldehyde is the principal component, at about 60 percent of the oil, and is the main driver of its odour profile.
