Cetiol CC

Cetiol® CC (INCI: Dicaprylyl Carbonate) is a plant-derived, fast-spreading emollient with a light, dry, velvety skin feel. Made from renewable feedstocks, it's a readily biodegradable alternative to silicones and enables low-VOC formulations.

A true all-rounder, Cetiol CC cuts the greasy, heavy feel of richer oils and waxes, improves slip and spreadability, and dries down to a soft, non-greasy finish. It's an outstanding solvent for crystalline UV filters and an excellent pigment disperser — especially valuable in sunscreens and colour cosmetics — and it boosts make-up-removing efficacy in cleansers while dissolving perfumes and propellants well for deodorants and sprays.

Typical use level: 2–15%. For external use only.
