When combined with α-tocopherol, it delivers a potent synergistic effect. This compound is stable when exposed to air if kept away from moisture, though it is moderately sensitive to light and heat. It appears as a white to pale yellow powder, nearly odorless, and is insoluble in water but dissolves well in ethanol and various oils like peanut, olive, and sunflower oil.
