Ascorbyl Palmitate 99% minimum

INCI: Ascorbyl Palmitate Ascorbyl Palmitate is the oil-soluble ester of ascorbic acid and palmitic acid, used as an antioxidant to improve the stability of oxygen-sensitive components in cosmetic formulations. It inhibits oxidation within the formulation and is widely used in the food industry as an antioxidant for edible fats and oils. Combined with α-tocopherol it shows a synergistic effect. Stable in air if kept away from moisture; moderately sensitive to light and heat. Appearance: white to pale yellow powder, nearly odourless Solubility: insoluble in water; dissolves well in ethanol and in oils such as peanut, olive and sunflower

Use levels: To protect oils 0.05 - 0.1%           In skincare 0.1 - 5%
